Jnana

Jnana is knowledge of reality — in Vedanta, the direct realization of the self as Brahman that destroys ignorance and grants liberation; it is central to the classical triad of paths (karma, jnana, bhakti). In the processed verses: bhakti-yoga begets it causelessly (SB 1.2.7); joined with detachment it equips the faithful to see the self (1.2.12); it is meant for Vasudeva (1.2.29); and at its summit the knowledge is nondual (1.2.11).
