Karma

Karma is the central Indian conception of action and its consequence, binding the soul to rebirth; the term covers both Vedic ritualism and the discipline of desireless action. In the processed verses: its 'knot' is cut by those united in meditation on the Lord (SB 1.2.15), and karmas dwindle when the Lord is seen within the self (1.2.21).
