Kaustubha is the gem upon the Lord's chest. At SB 3.8.30 the form on which Brahma meditates is 'kirITa-sAhasra-hiraNya-shR^i~Ngam Avirbhavat kaustubha-ratna-garbham' — of a thousand golden horns, whose womb is the Kaustubha gem. The verse describes, in the vision Brahma attained in absorption, that form which is the abode of the moving and the unmoving, hidden in the water.
