Kurukshetra
कुरुक्षेत्र
Kurukshetra, the holy field named after king Kuru, ancestor of the Kuru line, lies near Brahmavarta between the Sarasvati and Drishadvati and is called 'dharma-kshetra'. There the eighteen-day Mahabharata war was fought, and there Krishna spoke the Bhagavad-gita to Arjuna. At SB 1.10.34 it is among the lands Krishna passes through on the way back to Dvaraka.
