Artha

Artha is the third of the four purusharthas (dharma, artha, kama, moksha): material well-being, wealth and orderly prosperity, with which the Arthashastra tradition is associated. In the processed verses: of dharma whose goal is liberation, wealth is not the purpose — 'nartho 'rthayopakalpate' (SB 1.2.9).
