Kripi
कृपी
Also known as गौतमी
Kripi (Gautami) is the daughter of Sharadvan Gautama, twin sister of Kripacharya, wife of Dronacharya and mother of Ashvatthama. SB 1.7.45 names her as Drona's wife, 'virasu kripi'. At SB 1.7.47 it is precisely the thought of her that moves Draupadi to beg for Ashvatthama's life: 'let his mother Gautami not weep as I weep.'
