Sankarshana

At SB 3.8.3 the sages headed by the Kumaras, wishing to know the truth, question the Lord, the first, the god Sankarshana of unfailing sattva, seated on the earth: 'AsInam urvyAM bhagavantaM AdyaM sa~NkarShaNaM devam akuNTha-sattvam'. At SB 3.8.7 the same Lord is described as having told it to Sanatkumara.

At SB 3.11.29 the burning at the end of the age is described as the power of Sankarshana: 'tri-lokyAM dahyamAnAyAM shaktyA sa~NkarShaNAgninA / yAnty UShmaNA mahar-lokAj janaM bhR^igv-adayo arditAH' — when the three worlds burn, from Maharloka the Jana and Bhrigu and the rest, scorched by the heat, depart.

Sankarshana is one of the four vyuha forms of Vasudeva: 'pradyumnāyāniruddhāya namaḥ saṅkarṣaṇāya ca' (SB 1.5.37). Evidence: EXPLICIT.
