The Satvatas are the devout Yadu-clan — of the Vrishni tradition — whose lord is Krishna Himself; in Bhagavata usage 'Satvata' came to denote the Vishnu-worshipping Yadavas, giving names like the 'satvata-tantra'. In the processed verses: 'bhagavan satvatam patih' — Krishna is their Lord (SB 1.1.12; repeated 1.2.14).

Holding Krishna to be the abode of all beings
The Satvatas read a gesture, were mature in wisdom and given to the single syllable, and all of them held the chief of the Satvatas to be bhutavasa, the abode of all beings (SB 3.2.9).
