यशोदा
Yaśodā is the wife of Nanda and the foster-mother of Krishna in Gokula, whose affection is held in Vaiṣṇava devotion to be the model of the maternal mood. In the Dāmodara episode she seeks to bind Him to a mortar for stealing butter, but every cord brought falls two fingers short — until the Lord Himself consents to be bound. SB 2.7.30 places both incidents in a single verse: the cord always falling short, and the sight of all the worlds within His mouth as He yawned, at which, struck with awe, she was 'awakened'; though the Bhagavata adds elsewhere that the awakening was momentary and her motherly affection returned.

Seeing the worlds within His mouth as He yawned, the cowherd woman was struck with awe and awakened: 'yaj jrimbhato 'sya vadane bhuvanani gopi samvikshya shankita-manah pratibodhitasit' (SB 2.7.30). Evidence: EXPLICIT.
