Iravati
इरावती
Iravati, daughter of the Matsya prince Uttara and wife of Parikshit, was Virata's granddaughter and Uttarā's niece. According to SB 1.16.2 Parikshit married her and begot on her four sons headed by Janamejaya. Through her the Kuru succession, once all but ended by Ashvatthama's brahmastra (SB 1.8.14), was carried forward. Some Puranas also name her Madravati.
