Dragged from his high seat and killed
Krishna came to Mathura with Baladeva and, wishing His parents' well-being, pulled Kamsa down from his high seat and killed him, then dragged the lifeless body along the ground with His strength: 'nipAtya tu~NgAd ripu-yUtha-nAthaM hataM vyakarShad vyasum ojasA urvyAm'. The split is tu~NgAt + ripu-yUtha-nAtham (SB 3.3.1).
